Leicester Astronomical Society Lecture

On 23rd January I visited the National Space Centre to give a talk to the Leicester Astronomical Society at their January meeting.

I presented some of the most exciting (in my own opinion) discoveries made by the Cassini spacecraft during its time in orbit around Saturn. One of which is the icy moon Enceladus which is responsible for replenishing the diffuse E ring with its plumes of water ice. This also makes the moon one of the best locations in the Solar System to find life thanks to its liquid water ocean under the frozen surface.
